The Lower North Shore is the densest mix of building stock we work in: interwar walk-ups without lifts, harbourside houses two levels below the road, and new towers around the Metro. Almost none of it is a simple driveway.

- The common thread
- Access rather than volume. Across the Lower North Shore the constraint is nearly always the route between the truck and the front door — a stair run, a steep driveway, or a lift that will not take a sofa.
- Walk-up apartments
- Neutral Bay, Cremorne and Kirribilli are dominated by three and four storey blocks with no lift. We confirm the floor before quoting and crew the job to the stair run.
- Harbourside houses
- Mosman, Northbridge, Castlecrag and Greenwich have homes stepping well below the road. The external stair is measured and costed rather than discovered.
- Tower addresses
- Chatswood, North Sydney and Crows Nest run booked service lifts and loading docks. We book those on confirmation and check dock clearances before choosing the vehicle.
- Parking
- Military Road, Willoughby Road and the Pacific Highway have nowhere to stand a truck through the day. We work from side streets and start early where the address fronts a main road.
- On-site quotes
- Free anywhere on the Lower North Shore, and strongly recommended for anything above a first floor or below street level.

01 Which suburbs does this cover?

02 Do you charge more for stairs?
No. A long stair carry takes more time, so it means either more hours or an extra crew member, and whichever it is you see it in the quote before you accept rather than afterwards.
03 Can you handle the strata paperwork?
Yes. We provide the certificate of currency, book the service lift and deal with the building manager directly, which is usually the part people least want to chase.
04 Is an on-site quote really necessary?
For anything above a first floor or below street level, it is worth the twenty minutes. On the Lower North Shore the access is the price, and it is very hard to describe accurately over the phone.
