Removalists in North Sydney
In a tower, the paperwork is half the move.
Loading docks with fixed clearances, service lifts booked to the hour, after-hours-only access, and a building manager who will turn a truck away without a certificate of currency.

- The main constraint
- Building compliance. Most North Sydney towers require a certificate of currency, a booked and padded service lift, and an agreed loading dock window before a removalist may begin.
- After hours
- Many buildings permit removals only outside business hours. For commercial moves that suits us anyway — Friday evening through the weekend means no lost trading day.
- Dock clearance
- Fixed height limits apply, commonly between 2.5 and 3.5 metres. We confirm the clearance and assign a truck that fits.
- Commercial moves
- Workstations, screens, comms racks, filing and archives — crated and labelled by desk so staff arrive to their own equipment already in place.
- IT
- We move and reinstate hardware and work to your IT provider's schedule for disconnect and reconnect.
- Insurance
- Public liability and goods-in-transit cover on every job, with the certificate sent directly to building management.
The move fails at the dock, not in the office.
Nearly every North Sydney building has a dock with a fixed clearance, a lift that must be booked and padded, and a window outside business hours in which a removal is permitted at all. Miss any one of the three and the job does not start.
We call building management before the day, confirm the clearance, book the lift and the dock, and send the certificate through. By the time we arrive, we are expected.

01 What is a certificate of currency and do I need one?
It is written proof that your removalist holds current public liability insurance. Most commercial and high-rise residential buildings require it before allowing a removalist on site. We provide it as a matter of course — tell us who it goes to.
02 My building only allows moves after hours.
That is normal here, and it is how we prefer to run commercial moves anyway. Give us the permitted window and we build the job around it.
03 Can you move our office over a weekend?
Yes, and it is usually the right call. Your team finishes Friday at the old address and starts Monday at the new one with everything labelled by desk.
04 Do you cover Milsons Point, Kirribilli and Crows Nest?
Yes, along with St Leonards, Neutral Bay, Cammeray and the rest of the Lower North Shore.
How it went for other people.

We've used Sydney Relocators twice now for house and office moves. Ansul talks you through exactly how the job will run before he starts, so there are no surprises on the day.

Ansul and the team were professional and clearly knew what they were doing, right down to reassembling the furniture at the other end. Easily the best removalist I've used in Sydney.
Neha S.
The crew turned up right on time and worked hard the whole way through. They were careful with the building's walls and lifts, and wrapped every piece of furniture properly.
Shweta A.
A genuinely stress-free move from start to finish. The team was professional and efficient, and even helped us pick up an extra piece of furniture along the way.
Amin B.
Second time booking Sydney Relocators and it was outstanding again. Ansul and his crew kept everything smooth and organised — we'll be calling them for the next move too.

I spent hours comparing companies before booking — a lot of the '5-star' ones had a pattern of one-star complaints about damage once you dug in. Ansul and Vishal were a different standard entirely.
Dipankar C.
Used them again for our latest move and they were excellent as always. Ansul's team disassembled and reassembled every piece of furniture with real care — the workmanship is second to none.
Ramakrishnan N.
Moved us from Parramatta to Stanhope Gardens and the service was outstanding throughout. The team was punctual, professional, and particularly skilled at dismantling and reassembling furniture.
