Upper North Shore homes are big, and the blocks they sit on are bigger. The house is rarely the difficulty — the garage, the shed, the under-house storage and the long carry from the driveway are where the hours actually go.

- The common thread
- Volume. These are large family homes on deep blocks, and the single most common quoting error in the region is counting the rooms and forgetting the outbuildings.
- What gets missed
- Garages, garden sheds, under-house storage and the contents of a workshop. A full double garage is frequently half a truck on its own.
- Fine furniture
- Pianos, antiques and original furniture are common in the older homes through Warrawee, Wahroonga and Pymble. They are surveyed and quoted separately rather than loaded as general furniture.
- Downsizing
- A large share of the work here is later-life moves into apartments or retirement living. Those are planned around sorting and pace rather than speed.
- Access
- Long driveways, split-level houses and deep bush blocks. The carry from the truck to the door is measured when we quote.
- On-site quotes
- Free across the Upper North Shore, and strongly recommended. This is the region where a phone estimate is least likely to hold.

01 Which suburbs does this cover?
Roseville, Lindfield, Killara, Gordon, Pymble, Turramurra, Warrawee, Wahroonga and St Ives. Each has its own page covering the local access and the typical job.
02 Why do you insist on seeing the house?
Because volume up here is genuinely hard to judge from a description. The difference between a four-bedroom house with an empty garage and one with a full one is several hours and sometimes a second truck.
03 Do you handle downsizing moves?
Yes, and a large share of our Upper North Shore work is exactly that. Those jobs are run at a different pace, with the sorting planned in and the new home set up before we leave.
04 How do you handle antique furniture?
Individually. Each substantial piece is looked at before the day, wrapped or dismantled according to how it is actually built, and crated where that is warranted.
