Removalists in Naremburn
Small houses, narrow streets, and furniture that has outgrown both.
Naremburn is a pocket of Federation cottages, semis and newer townhouses wedged between Crows Nest, Cammeray and the Gore Hill Freeway, with bushland down at Flat Rock Gully. The houses are charming and compact, and the streets are narrow enough that where the truck stops changes the day.

- The main constraint
- Narrow streets and narrow halls. Many Naremburn streets are parked on both sides, and cottage hallways and doorways are tight for modern furniture.
- Building stock
- Federation cottages and semis, some with rear extensions, plus townhouses and small apartment blocks.
- Renovated cottages
- A modern rear extension often means large sofas and dining tables that came in through bifold doors at the back. We check whether the same route works on the way out.
- How we handle it
- Truck position planned in advance, halls and doors measured against the big pieces, and floors protected at both ends.
- Typical job
- Two and three-bedroom cottages and semis. Usually a half to a full day.
- Traffic
- Willoughby Road and the freeway ramps are slow at peak times. We time arrival around them.
It came in through the back. It can go out that way too.
Many renovated Naremburn cottages have a narrow original hallway at the front and big glass doors to a rear extension. The large furniture usually came in through the back, often through a side gate or across the garden.
We ask how the big pieces came in. If the rear route is the only one that works, we plan the truck position and the carry around it, so there is no wrestling a sofa down a hall it was never going to fit.

01 Our hallway is narrow. Will the sofa fit?
Send the sofa's dimensions and the hallway width. If it won't go through the front, we look at the rear and side routes, which is usually how it came in.
02 Where will the truck park?
We work that out before the day. On narrower streets that means an early start or a smaller truck, and sometimes a short carry.
03 Do you protect floors in a renovated house?
Yes. New timber and stone floors mark as easily as old ones, so runners and protection go down at both ends.
04 How is the price worked out?
Hourly, with your rate locked in writing and an estimate based on volume and access. A carry from the back garden is included up front if it is needed.
05 Do you cover Crows Nest and Cammeray?
Yes, along with Artarmon, Northbridge and the rest of the Lower North Shore.

We've used Sydney Relocators twice now for house and office moves. Ansul talks you through exactly how the job will run before he starts, so there are no surprises on the day.

Ansul and the team were professional and clearly knew what they were doing, right down to reassembling the furniture at the other end. Easily the best removalist I've used in Sydney.
Neha S.
The crew turned up right on time and worked hard the whole way through. They were careful with the building's walls and lifts, and wrapped every piece of furniture properly.
Shweta A.
A genuinely stress-free move from start to finish. The team was professional and efficient, and even helped us pick up an extra piece of furniture along the way.

Second time booking Sydney Relocators and it was outstanding again. Ansul and his crew kept everything smooth and organised — we'll be calling them for the next move too.

I spent hours comparing companies before booking — a lot of the '5-star' ones had a pattern of one-star complaints about damage once you dug in. Ansul and Vishal were a different standard entirely.
Dipankar C.
Used them again for our latest move and they were excellent as always. Ansul's team disassembled and reassembled every piece of furniture with real care — the workmanship is second to none.
Ramakrishnan N.
Moved us from Parramatta to Stanhope Gardens and the service was outstanding throughout. The team was punctual, professional, and particularly skilled at dismantling and reassembling furniture.
