Removalists in Cremorne Point
One road in, one road out, and stairs on both sides of it.
Cremorne Point is a finger of land pushing into the harbour, with Milson Road running down the middle and the ground falling away to the water on either side. Most moves here are walk-up flats or houses below the road, and the street is too narrow to be casual about where a truck stops.

- The main constraint
- The peninsula itself. Milson Road is the only through route, it is narrow and parked on both sides, and there is very little room to turn a large truck towards the end of the point.
- Building stock
- Interwar and post-war walk-up apartment blocks, most without lifts, plus harbourside houses set well below the road down long flights of garden steps.
- How we handle it
- We plan the truck position before the date, usually with an early start, and size the vehicle so it can get out again. The stair run is counted when we quote.
- Typical job
- One and two-bedroom flats, often on the second or third floor. Usually half a day. Waterfront houses are a full day.
- The harbour walk side
- Homes facing the reserve along the water often have no vehicle access at all. Everything comes up a path, and that carry is the largest single part of the day.
- On-site quotes
- Free, and worth it here. A photo of the stairwell and the path from the street settles most of the price.
The truck has to be able to leave.
Bringing a full-size truck down Milson Road is easy. Getting it back out after the street has filled up is the hard part. The point narrows towards the wharf, and a truck that commits too far can spend twenty minutes reversing out.
So on Cremorne Point we choose the vehicle by the road, not the volume, and we stop where it can leave. If the load needs it, a second trip in a smaller truck costs less than an hour of the crew standing still.

01 My flat is on the third floor with no lift. What does that change?
More time and usually one more person, so the carry is shared and the day still ends on time. It goes into the estimate as hours from the start, not as a surcharge afterwards.
02 Our house is below the road on the reserve side. Can you get to it?
Yes, but usually on foot. We look at the path and the steps before quoting and crew the job for the carry. That carry is what the price really depends on, so we would rather see it than guess.
03 Can a truck stop outside on Milson Road?
Sometimes, early in the morning. We plan the position before the day and pick a truck that can turn and leave, rather than trusting our luck on the morning.
04 How is a Cremorne Point move priced?
By the hour, with your rate locked in writing and an honest estimate of how many hours it will take. Stairs and carry distance go into that estimate up front, so nothing gets added on the day.
05 Do you cover Cremorne, Kurraba Point and Neutral Bay?
Yes, along with Mosman and the rest of the Lower North Shore. The stairs and parking on the harbour side behave much the same way.

We've used Sydney Relocators twice now for house and office moves. Ansul talks you through exactly how the job will run before he starts, so there are no surprises on the day.

Ansul and the team were professional and clearly knew what they were doing, right down to reassembling the furniture at the other end. Easily the best removalist I've used in Sydney.
Neha S.
The crew turned up right on time and worked hard the whole way through. They were careful with the building's walls and lifts, and wrapped every piece of furniture properly.
Shweta A.
A genuinely stress-free move from start to finish. The team was professional and efficient, and even helped us pick up an extra piece of furniture along the way.
Amin B.
Second time booking Sydney Relocators and it was outstanding again. Ansul and his crew kept everything smooth and organised — we'll be calling them for the next move too.

I spent hours comparing companies before booking — a lot of the '5-star' ones had a pattern of one-star complaints about damage once you dug in. Ansul and Vishal were a different standard entirely.
Dipankar C.
Used them again for our latest move and they were excellent as always. Ansul's team disassembled and reassembled every piece of furniture with real care — the workmanship is second to none.
Ramakrishnan N.
Moved us from Parramatta to Stanhope Gardens and the service was outstanding throughout. The team was punctual, professional, and particularly skilled at dismantling and reassembling furniture.
