Interstate Removalists from Sydney
Loaded once here. Unloaded once there.
The usual interstate model moves your belongings through two or three depots and as many companies. Ours does not. The crew that packs the truck in Sydney is the crew that unloads it at the other end, wherever in Australia that is.

- Routes
- Sydney to anywhere in Australia, door to door, on our own trucks — the east coast, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Tasmania.
- Transit times
- Sydney to Canberra is usually next day. Melbourne and Brisbane are typically one to three days depending on the run and the date. Adelaide is longer again, and Perth, Darwin and Tasmania longer still. A delivery window is agreed when we quote, whatever the distance.
- How it is priced
- By volume and distance rather than by the hour, because an hourly rate is meaningless across a thousand kilometres. An inventory or a few photographs tightens the quote considerably.
- Dedicated or backload
- A dedicated truck costs more and gives a tighter delivery window with less handling. A backload is cheaper but shares space and handling with other consignments and carries a wider window. We quote either and are direct about the difference.
- What cannot travel
- Anything flammable or pressurised — gas bottles, fuel, paint, aerosols — plus perishable food and plants, which do not survive the trip and can create quarantine problems at some borders.
Most interstate damage happens standing still.
People assume the risk in an interstate move is the drive. It is not. It is the handling. Every time a load is unloaded, restacked in a depot and loaded again, each piece gets another opportunity to be dropped, scuffed or mislaid.
Backloading is cheaper for precisely that reason. If the trade-off suits you, take it — we will quote it. If it does not, we drive it ourselves and you know where your furniture is throughout.
