SYDNEY RELOCATORS PTY LTD (ABN 14 660 866 786), trading as Sydney Relocators ("we", "us", "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website and any dealings with us by phone or email.

What we collect

When you request a quote or otherwise contact us, we may collect: your name, phone number and email address; the addresses involved in your move; details about the job itself (size, access, timing, and any special items); and anything else you choose to include in your enquiry. We don't ask for or collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or other sensitive information through this website.

When you send an enquiry through this website we also record how you got to the form: the page you were on when you started it, the wording of the button you pressed, the page you first arrived on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. That is information about your visit rather than about you — but because it reaches us attached to your enquiry, we treat it with the same care as the rest of it. It is held in your browser for the length of your visit only, and it never includes anything you type into the form.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you — through the quote form on this website, by phone, or by email. The quote form is delivered using a third-party service, EmailJS, which sends your submission straight to our inbox. We don't operate a server or database that stores form submissions ourselves.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare and provide a quote, to communicate with you about your enquiry or booking, and, if you book with us, to carry out the move and the administration that goes with it (invoicing, insurance claims, and so on). We use the visit information described above to understand which parts of this site and which advertising actually bring us work, so we can spend on the ones that do. We don't sell your information, and we don't pass it to lead-generation services, comparison sites, or marketing lists without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with the following, and only as far as necessary to run this website and carry out your move:

• EmailJS — delivers quote form submissions to our inbox.
• Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics — website usage statistics. See Cookies and analytics below.
• Our own staff, and any subcontracted trades or insurers, where necessary to carry out a booked move or manage a claim.

We don't otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and doesn't track you across other websites. It may also use Google Analytics, which does use cookies to measure how visitors use the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically using a browser extension such as Google's own Analytics opt-out add-on, or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings generally. The quote form also uses your browser's session storage to remember which page you started your enquiry from. That is cleared the moment you close the tab, is never shared with anyone else, and is not used to follow you around the web.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the third-party services above, including EmailJS and Google Analytics, may store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. By using this website you consent to this. We only use established providers with their own privacy safeguards in place.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Quote enquiries arrive by email, which isn't a fully secure medium — please avoid sending highly sensitive information (such as full financial details) through the quote form.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@sydneyrelocators.com.au. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, dated below.
