Removalists in St Ives
Two generations moving in opposite directions.
Half our St Ives work is families arriving into large homes on big blocks. The other half is the generation before them leaving those homes for a village or an apartment. The second kind needs more time, and we book it.

- The main constraint
- Volume and grounds. Large blocks mean sheds, workshops, outdoor furniture and garden equipment that rarely make it into a phone estimate.
- Access
- Generally comfortable — real driveways and room for a full-size truck. Mature trees can restrict clearance, so we check the approach first.
- Downsizing
- There are several retirement villages in and around St Ives. The village sets the move-in window and books its own lift — give us those details and we plan the day around them.
- Setting up
- For later-life moves we unpack, make the beds, hang what needs hanging and put the kitchen away, so the first evening is comfortable.
- What does not come
- We deliver pieces to family across Sydney, take donations to charities that will accept them, and remove the rest — all priced in advance.
- On-site quotes
- Free, and recommended for anything four bedrooms and above or with substantial grounds.
A village move is not a small move.
People assume that going from a five-bedroom house into a two-bedroom villa is an easy day because less arrives at the far end. The work is at the near end — sorting forty years of a house into what comes, what goes to the children, what is donated and what is disposed of.
We schedule those days longer than the volume strictly requires, with breaks in them, and we do not rush the decisions. It is usually the adult children coordinating it, often from another suburb or state, and we deal with the village directly so they do not have to.
- 01 Free on-site assessment including sheds and grounds

- 05 Unpacked and set up at the new home
- 06 Former home cleared and cleaned afterwards
01 Can you deal with the retirement village directly?
We can talk to them about the practicalities, but the village sets the move-in window and books its own lift and loading dock — that part comes from you or the resident. Give us the details they confirm and we plan around them, and we keep the family updated by phone or email throughout.
02 What happens to the furniture that is not coming?
We deliver items to family members around Sydney, take donations to a charity that will actually accept them, and remove and dispose of the remainder. All of it is quoted up front.
03 Can you set up the new home?
That is the part worth saying yes to. We unpack, make the beds, hang what needs hanging, put the kitchen away and take the empty cartons with us.
04 Do you cover Pymble, Turramurra and Wahroonga?
Yes, along with Gordon, Killara, Lindfield and the rest of the Upper North Shore.

We've used Sydney Relocators twice now for house and office moves. Ansul talks you through exactly how the job will run before he starts, so there are no surprises on the day.
Sudheer S.
Ansul and the team were professional and clearly knew what they were doing, right down to reassembling the furniture at the other end. Easily the best removalist I've used in Sydney.
Neha S.
The crew turned up right on time and worked hard the whole way through. They were careful with the building's walls and lifts, and wrapped every piece of furniture properly.
Shweta A.
A genuinely stress-free move from start to finish. The team was professional and efficient, and even helped us pick up an extra piece of furniture along the way.
Amin B.
Second time booking Sydney Relocators and it was outstanding again. Ansul and his crew kept everything smooth and organised — we'll be calling them for the next move too.
Matthew M.
I spent hours comparing companies before booking — a lot of the '5-star' ones had a pattern of one-star complaints about damage once you dug in. Ansul and Vishal were a different standard entirely.
Dipankar C.
Used them again for our latest move and they were excellent as always. Ansul's team disassembled and reassembled every piece of furniture with real care — the workmanship is second to none.
Ramakrishnan N.
Moved us from Parramatta to Stanhope Gardens and the service was outstanding throughout. The team was punctual, professional, and particularly skilled at dismantling and reassembling furniture.
