Removalists in Killara
The house is bigger than the floor plan suggests.
Upper North Shore homes hold decades. Four bedrooms, a study, a rumpus, a double garage, a garden shed and a roof cavity nobody has emptied since 1998. Quoting that from a bedroom count is how a job becomes two trips.

- The main constraint
- Volume. Killara houses are large, long-held and typically fuller than the bedroom count implies once the garage, shed, storage and roof cavity are counted.
- Driveways
- Long driveways are common and generally usable, but mature street trees and low branches restrict clearance for a high truck. We check the approach before assigning a vehicle.
- On-site quotes
- Free, and recommended for anything four bedrooms and above. A short walk-through is what makes a quote hold.
- Downsizing
- A large share of Killara work is downsizing into an apartment or a village. Send the new floor plan and we will tell you what fits before packing starts.
- Typical job
- A full day for four bedrooms, sometimes two days where there is a substantial garage, workshop or garden to move as well.
- Specialist items
- Pianos, pool tables, gym equipment and large artwork are common and are quoted separately.
Count the garage before you count the bedrooms.
The garage is the most under-declared room on the Upper North Shore. Twenty years of tools, sporting equipment, garden furniture and cartons never unpacked from the last move regularly add a third to the volume of a job.
Two trips is the most expensive outcome on a local move — you pay for the driving twice and lose half a day. It is entirely avoidable with a walk-through, which is why we do them free.

01 How long does a four-bedroom house take?
Usually a full day, and longer where there is a substantial garage, workshop or garden furniture. We give a realistic estimate rather than an optimistic one that collapses by lunchtime.
02 Do you move pianos and pool tables?
Yes, though both are quoted separately because they need specific equipment and usually an extra person. Mention them early so the crew is planned around them.
03 We are downsizing. Can you help work out what fits?
Yes. Send the floor plan or dimensions of the new place and we will tell you honestly what will and will not fit, so those decisions are made calmly rather than in a driveway.
04 Do you cover Lindfield, Gordon and Pymble?
Yes, along with St Ives, Wahroonga, Turramurra and the rest of the Upper North Shore.

We've used Sydney Relocators twice now for house and office moves. Ansul talks you through exactly how the job will run before he starts, so there are no surprises on the day.
Sudheer S.
Ansul and the team were professional and clearly knew what they were doing, right down to reassembling the furniture at the other end. Easily the best removalist I've used in Sydney.
Neha S.
The crew turned up right on time and worked hard the whole way through. They were careful with the building's walls and lifts, and wrapped every piece of furniture properly.
Shweta A.
A genuinely stress-free move from start to finish. The team was professional and efficient, and even helped us pick up an extra piece of furniture along the way.
Amin B.
Second time booking Sydney Relocators and it was outstanding again. Ansul and his crew kept everything smooth and organised — we'll be calling them for the next move too.

I spent hours comparing companies before booking — a lot of the '5-star' ones had a pattern of one-star complaints about damage once you dug in. Ansul and Vishal were a different standard entirely.
Dipankar C.
Used them again for our latest move and they were excellent as always. Ansul's team disassembled and reassembled every piece of furniture with real care — the workmanship is second to none.
Ramakrishnan N.
Moved us from Parramatta to Stanhope Gardens and the service was outstanding throughout. The team was punctual, professional, and particularly skilled at dismantling and reassembling furniture.
