01 Why does an on-site quote matter for a house like mine?
Because the volume is genuinely hard to judge from a description. The difference between a four-bedroom house with an empty garage and one with a full one is several hours and sometimes a second truck.

Yes, and they need counting. If you would rather clear them yourself beforehand, tell us and we will quote it both ways.
03 Can you move a piano and antiques in the same job?
Yes, though they are surveyed and priced separately from the general load so the handling is properly allowed for.
