A Bondi Beach move is a stair problem and a parking problem at the same time. The blocks are mostly interwar walk-ups without lifts, and the kerb space outside them is the most contested in the eastern suburbs.

- Resident permit schemes cover most of the residential streets. We apply for the temporary permit rather than leaving you to, and we allow lead time for the council to issue it.
- Timing
- Weekends and summer afternoons are genuinely difficult around the beach. Where the date is flexible we will steer you to a weekday morning and explain why.

- Free, and worth it above the first floor. The staircase and the distance from a legal kerb are the whole quote.
The permit is part of the job, not your homework.
Almost every residential street around the beach is permit parking, and a removal truck without one is either moved on or ticketed. Councils need notice to issue a temporary permit, which means it has to be organised well before the week of the move.
We do that as a matter of course, and we build the lead time into the booking. It is the single most common reason a Bondi move starts badly, and it is entirely avoidable.

01 Do I need a parking permit for the truck?
In most Bondi Beach streets, yes. We apply for it rather than leaving it with you, but the council needs notice — so the earlier the booking, the smoother the morning.
02 I am on the third floor with no lift. What does that mean?
More time and usually more people, so the job still finishes in the day. The stair run goes into the quote as hours rather than appearing later as a surcharge.
03 Can you move on a Saturday?
We can, though around the beach a weekday morning is considerably easier and often cheaper in hours. If the date is fixed we plan around it and start early.
04 Do you cover North Bondi, Bronte and Tamarama?
Yes, along with the rest of the eastern suburbs. The stock and the parking behave the same way.
